Aqua Nature · complete bathroom system · walls, floors and showers
Complete microcement system CimentArt Aqua Nature for bathroom walls, floors, and shower enclosures. It creates a continuous surface without tile joints, has a natural mineral appearance and is suitable for both new builds and renovations due to its thin layer.
Complete bathroom solution
This system allows unifying walls, floors and shower enclosure in a single material. There are no tile joints, creating a calmer, more spacious and architecturally cleaner bathroom space.
A continuous surface limits spatial division and facilitates routine maintenance compared to numerous cement joints.
The individual system layers are designed for moist environments and after sealing with Gela Cryl TR100 and 2K PU lacquer, the surface is suitable for shower enclosures.
With correct preparation, the system can be applied on a firm existing tile or flooring, significantly reducing demolition work.

Exceptionally low emissions
The Aqua Nature system composition was tested as a complete flooring layer including final protection. The result meets the strictest EMICODE® EC1 PLUS emission classification.
The measured total volatile organic compounds content was significantly below the limit set for the EMICODE® EC1 PLUS emission class.
Measurement report available on request.
System use
We recommend Aqua Nature wherever you want to create a continuous mineral surface without traditional tiling, unify multiple bathroom areas and maintain a thin new layer.
Complete system layers
The set is assembled according to the selected area and includes all products needed for the recommended system layers. You do not need to calculate individual layer consumption or combine unrelated materials yourself.
| 1× Primer Plus | unifies absorbency and improves adhesion to the prepared substrate |
|---|---|
| 1× Aqua Base | microcement base layer; another layer can be applied depending on substrate condition |
| 1× Aqua Nature | final decorative microcement with natural concrete appearance |
| 2× Gela Cryl TR100 | closes micropores, unifies absorbency and prepares surface for lacquering |
| 2× 2K PU protection | final protection against water, common dirt and operational wear |
| Total thickness | usually about 2 mm; depending on substrate evenness and preparation approximately 1.5 to 3 mm |
Significantly uneven areas, deep joints, damaged tiles or additional levelling may increase Aqua Base consumption above the amount included in the standard set.
Basic overview
The following steps provide only a brief overview. Always verify exact substrate preparation, sanding, technological breaks, and application method of materials in the current application instructions.
The substrate must be firm, even, stable, dry, and free of active cracks. In the shower, slope, drainage, corners, penetrations and sealing details must be correctly resolved beforehand.
Primer Plus is applied with a roller on the prepared and unified surface. The primer must fully dry before the next layer.
Base mortar is applied with a steel trowel in a maximum thickness of 1 mm. After drying, the surface is sanded and thoroughly vacuumed.
Final microcement is applied with a trowel in a thin layer. The trowel technique and pressure determine the resulting pattern and surface texture.
After drying and sanding Aqua Nature, two thin layers of acrylic gel are applied to seal micropores and unify the surface.
Finally, two even and continuous layers of 2K polyurethane lacquer are applied. Complete coverage is essential in the shower.
Key point of implementation
Microcement is a thin-layer surface finishing and follows substrate behaviour. It will not correct structural movement, active cracks, improperly formed slope or leaking beneath the surface.
In the shower enclosure, drainage connection, penetrations, corners and any structural waterproofing must be correctly resolved before application. Aqua Nature creates a durable final surface but does not replace repairing defective or leaking structural elements.
Do not apply the system on substrates with capillary or residual moisture. Structural and expansion joints must not be overlapped without expert assessment.
Before shower application
The final result depends not only on the coating. The shower enclosure must be properly prepared as a whole before opening the first microcement package.
The substrate must drain water towards the outlet. Microcement follows the existing geometry and does not create slope itself.
Connections of drains, floor traps, taps and other penetrations must be stable, watertight and prepared for surface layer adhesion.
Gela Cryl and 2K PU lacquer must cover the entire surface evenly, without missed spots, runs, or prematurely dried joints.
Care and maintenance
Proper maintenance protects the final lacquer and extends the surface lifespan. Clean regularly without aggressive or abrasive products.
Use water and gentle cleaners with neutral pH intended for lacquered surfaces for routine maintenance.
Avoid abrasive powders, rough sponges, wire wool, strong acids and aggressive solvents.
Check silicone joints, penetrations and around drains. Repair damaged seals before water can get beneath the surface.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. The complete system with properly prepared substrate, Gela Cryl TR100 and two layers of 2K polyurethane protection is also suitable for shower enclosures and other regularly exposed wet areas.
Yes. When the entire system is correctly applied, sealed with two layers of Gela Cryl TR100 and two continuous layers of 2K PU lacquer, it is also suitable for shower enclosures. However, construction details, slope, and connection of the drain must be correctly resolved prior to application.
Yes, provided the substrate is firm, stable, and the individual elements do not hollow or move. The surface must be degreased, properly prepared and joints and unevenness levelled.
Yes. Aqua Nature can be used on bathroom walls, floors, niches and shower enclosures. When ordering, sum the total area of all parts of the installation.
Yes, if the screed is stable, matured and has undergone the prescribed heating cycle prior to application. The substrate must not show active cracks or residual moisture.
The total thickness of the system typically ranges from approximately 1.5 to 3 mm depending on the flatness of the substrate and number of preparatory layers.
Both Aqua Base and Aqua Nature are single-component renders ready to use, which simplifies application. However, for showers and floors it is essential to strictly follow substrate preparation, curing times and apply the final layers without omissions.
Add the area of walls, floors, shower, niches and other surfaces. We recommend adding approximately 5 % extra as a reserve. A significantly uneven substrate may require additional Aqua Base beyond the standard set contents.
Microcement as a thin-layer finish follows the behaviour of the substrate. Active cracks, structural movement, unsuitable joints and expansion gaps must therefore be addressed before application.
For regular maintenance use water and neutral cleaning agents. Do not use abrasive powders, wire wool, strong acids or aggressive solvents.
Minor local damage can usually be repaired without removing the entire surface. However, the repaired area may have a slightly different shade or texture due to the hand-finished effect.
Individual layers and the final 2K protection require the prescribed drying and curing time. Always check exact times in the current application instructions and do not stress the surface prematurely.
The emission classification was verified on the complete floor system Aqua Nature including relevant layers and final protection. The test report can be provided on request.
No. The video is a practical demonstration of working with the material. For correct system application always follow the current PDF application instructions.
