Delivery Terms and Conditions of the Design & Solution Online Store

These delivery terms govern the method of dispatch, transport and receipt of goods ordered through the online store www.design-solution.cz. The seller is identified in the online store’s terms and conditions. Orders and routine customer communication are handled by the Design & Solution customer service.

1. Availability and Dispatch of Goods

1.1. The availability information displayed with the goods corresponds to the status known at the time of viewing the offer. In exceptional cases, simultaneous stock depletion or other changes in availability may occur.

1.2. Goods marked as “in stock” are usually dispatched within one working day from order confirmation. For prepaid orders, this period starts after payment is received, unless agreed otherwise.

1.3. For pallet shipments, oversized goods, large orders, individually prepared products, or goods requiring special packaging, the dispatch time may be longer. The expected delivery date will be communicated to the buyer in the order confirmation or by a subsequent message.

1.4. Orders received outside working days are processed from the next working day.

1.5. If the ordered goods are not available within the expected time, the buyer will be contacted without undue delay by e-mail or phone and informed of the expected delivery date or offered an alternative solution.

1.6. Unless another date is agreed, goods will be delivered to the consumer without undue delay, no later than 30 days from the conclusion of the purchase contract.

2. Delivery and Packaging Price

2.1. Currently available delivery methods and their prices are displayed in the basket before placing the order. The price depends primarily on weight, dimensions, number of shipments, delivery method and delivery location.

2.2. Unless otherwise stated in the ordering process, the delivery price also includes the usual packaging necessary for the chosen transport method.

2.3. Goods are packaged with regard to their nature, weight and usual transportation risks. For liquid, bulk, heavy or pallet shipments, multiple packaging and securing elements may be used.

2.4. If the order requires a non-standard transport or packaging method that cannot be automatically calculated in the basket, the buyer will be informed of the price before dispatch and asked to approve it.

3. Parcel Delivery

3.1. Parcel shipments are mainly delivered via DPD or GLS courier services. Depending on the shipment’s nature, delivery location and current operational possibilities, another comparable carrier may also be chosen.

3.2. A parcel shipment is usually delivered the next working day after being taken over by the carrier. This is the typical transport time, not a guaranteed deadline, unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific order.

3.3. The carrier may send the buyer information about the planned delivery and allow changes to the delivery date or place under the specific carrier’s terms.

4. Pallet and Special Transport

4.1. Heavy, bulky or larger orders may be dispatched on pallets, primarily via Rhenus Logistics or another suitable contracted carrier.

4.2. Pallet transport is usually carried out to the first lockable point at the delivery address where the vehicle can safely access and the shipment can be unloaded with standard carrier equipment. Carrying the goods into the building, on-site handling or pallet removal are not included, unless agreed otherwise in advance.

4.3. The buyer must ensure the delivery address is accessible to a suitable vehicle and that a person authorised to receive the shipment is present at the agreed time.

4.4. If the delivery location requires a special vehicle, tail-lift, time slot, entry permit or other non-standard service, the buyer must notify this in advance. Such services may incur additional charges.

5. Personal Collection

5.1. Personal collection is only possible after prior confirmation that the order is ready for collection.

5.2. The location for personal collection is:

Design & Solution – Collection Point
Střelice 727
664 47 Střelice

5.3. The collection time must be agreed in advance with customer service by e-mail eshop@design-solution.cz or by telephone +420 514 514 934.

5.4. The buyer will collect the goods by vehicle or other means corresponding to the quantity, weight and dimensions. Loading oversized or pallet goods must be agreed in advance.

6. Delivery Address and Contact Details

6.1. Goods are delivered to the delivery address provided by the buyer in the order.

6.2. The buyer is responsible for the correctness and completeness of the delivery address, phone number, email and other information necessary for delivery. If an error is found, the buyer must notify customer service without undue delay.

6.3. A change of delivery address or delivery method can only be made if the shipment has not yet been handed over to the carrier and if the change is technically possible. The change may affect the price or delivery date.

7. Receipt and Inspection of Shipment

7.1. Buyers are advised to check the number of packages or pallets and the external condition of the packaging upon receipt.

7.2. If the packaging is visibly damaged, deformed, torn, soaked or resealed in a way indicating damage or tampering with the shipment, it is recommended to:

  • request the carrier to record the damage in the delivery report;
  • take photographs of the packaging, shipping label and damaged goods;
  • notify damage to customer service without undue delay.

7.3. If the shipment is visibly damaged and there is reasonable concern that the goods may be damaged, the buyer may refuse to accept the shipment. It is advisable to have the reason for refusal recorded by the carrier.

7.4. Failure to inspect the shipment upon receipt, not signing the delivery report with the carrier, or accepting damaged packaging does not, by itself, deprive the consumer of their statutory rights for faulty performance. However, timely documentation significantly facilitates proving damage during transport.

7.5. In case of hidden damage discovered only after unpacking, it is advisable to keep the packaging material, avoid further use of the shipment and contact customer service as soon as possible.

8. Transfer of Risk of Damage

8.1. If the buyer is a consumer and transport is carried out by the seller in the manner offered by the online store, the risk of damage to the goods transfers to the consumer upon receipt by the consumer or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier.

8.2. If the consumer chooses their own carrier, not offered by the online store, the risk passes upon handing over the goods to that carrier.

8.3. For buyers who are not consumers, the transfer of risk is governed by the purchase contract and applicable provisions of the Civil Code.

9. Order Documents

9.1. Order confirmation is sent to the buyer’s e-mail address.

9.2. The tax document may be sent electronically, made available in the customer account or enclosed with the shipment. It does not have to be included separately in each package.

9.3. The delivery note may be enclosed with the shipment, sent electronically or replaced by another document containing a summary of the delivered goods.

10. Delay in Delivery

10.1. If the goods are not delivered within the agreed time, the consumer may request the seller to deliver within an additional reasonable period.

10.2. If the seller fails to deliver the goods even within the additional period, the consumer may withdraw from the contract. The additional period is not required especially if the seller refused to deliver or the exact delivery date was necessary due to circumstances or prior consumer notification.

10.3. If the buyer validly withdraws from the contract due to non-delivery of goods, the paid amounts will be refunded without undue delay.

11. Non-Acceptance of Shipment

11.1. Failure to accept the shipment does not in itself constitute withdrawal from the purchase contract.

11.2. If the buyer refuses to accept the shipment without valid reason, the seller may claim reimbursement of actually and effectively incurred costs caused by the failure to accept the shipment.

11.3. If the consumer intends to withdraw from the contract, they should inform customer service clearly. This does not limit the consumer’s statutory right to withdraw from the contract.

13.1. These delivery terms supplement the online store’s terms and conditions. In case of conflict, the provisions agreed for a specific order take precedence, followed by the general terms and conditions.

13.2. Delivery terms may be changed for future orders. The version effective at the time the order is placed by the buyer applies to that order.

13.3. These delivery terms are effective from 18 July 2026.
