Aqua Nature · complete floor layering · interior microcement
Complete CimentArt Aqua Nature microcement system designed for floors in living rooms, kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, and other interior spaces. Creates a seamless surface with a natural concrete look and minimal increase in floor height.
Main benefits
Microcement creates a seamless floor without tile joints. Interiors feel larger, calmer, and visually unified. Thanks to the complete layering and final 2K protection, the surface is ready for everyday wear.
A continuous surface without tile joints is easier to maintain and visually connects individual rooms.
The system finished with two-component polyurethane protection is suitable for living rooms, hallways, kitchens, and other regularly used interior floors.
With proper preparation, the system can be applied over solid ceramic tiles, concrete, or anhydrite without significant floor height increase.

Certified floor layering
Certification applies to the complete CimentArt Aqua Nature floor layering – from preparation and microcement layers to the final surface protection.
The measured total volatile organic compounds were significantly lower (practically zero) than the limit set for the strictest emission class EMICODE® EC1 PLUS.
Test report available upon request.
System usage
We recommend Aqua Nature for interiors where the floor should create a continuous and easy-to-maintain surface with a natural mineral and concrete appearance.
Complete layer system
The floor set is not just a stand-alone decorative screed. It contains complementary products that together form a strong, sealed and long-term protected surface.
| 1x Primer Plus | Unifies absorbency and improves adhesion to the substrate |
|---|---|
| 1x Aqua Base | Base and levelling microcement layer |
| 1x Aqua Nature | Final decorative screed with natural concrete appearance |
| 2× Gela Cryl TR100 | Seals micropores and unifies surface absorbency |
| 2x 2K PU protection | Final protection against wear, water, and everyday dirt |
| Total thickness | Approximately 1.5 to 2 mm depending on substrate evenness |
The PDF includes layer order, substrate preparation, recommended sanding, drying times, and important guidelines for correct system execution.
Basic overview
Below is a basic overview of each step. Always verify exact drying times, sanding method, and layer sequence in the current PDF application guide.
The substrate must be solid, stable, even, dry, and free of dust, grease, loose layers and active cracks.
A suitable primer is applied to the prepared substrate to unify absorbency and create conditions for proper bonding with the Aqua Base layer.
The base layer unifies the surface and forms a solid foundation for subsequent decorative microcement application.
The final microcement is applied with a steel trowel in a thin layer. The trowelling technique determines the final pattern and floor character.
After drying and sanding, two coats of Gela Cryl TR100 are applied, followed by the prescribed layers of two-component polyurethane protection.
Critical point of implementation
Microcement is a thin layer finish and follows the substrate’s behaviour. Therefore, the substrate must be solid, cohesive, dry and free of active cracks, deflections or movement of separate parts.
Structural and expansion joints must not be covered without assessment. Active cracks, unsuitable joins of different materials, insufficiently cured screeds, or residual moisture may cause defects to transfer to the final surface.
For underfloor heating, the substrate must be stabilised before application and must have completed the prescribed heating cycle. Specific preparation should always be adapted to screed type and floor condition.
Long-term protection
The microcement floor is durable but, like wooden flooring, vinyl or resin screed, it is not indestructible. Proper use significantly extends the lifespan of the final protective layer.
Equip table, chair and furniture legs with good quality, regularly checked felt pads.
Do not drag heavy objects, appliances or furniture across the floor. Use suitable protective underlays when moving.
Use mats in entrance zones. Sand and small stones can act like abrasives when walked on.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. The system includes base microcement layers, pore filler and final two-component polyurethane protection designed for normal mechanical and operational load on interior floors.
Classification covers the complete floor layering, not just the decorative screed Aqua Nature itself.
Yes, if the tiles are solid, stable and do not creak. The surface must be thoroughly degreased, roughened and joints and other unevenness levelled.
Yes, with a properly designed and stable substrate. The screed must be cured and the prescribed heating cycle completed before application.
Microcement, as a thin-layer finish, follows the substrate behaviour. Active cracks, unsuitable joints and expansion gaps must be resolved before application.
The final 2K polyurethane protection is highly resistant to everyday wear. However, the surface is not indestructible. We recommend using protective felt pads, entrance mats, and avoiding dragging furniture across the floor.
For regular maintenance, use water and neutral cleaning agents. Avoid abrasive powders, steel wool, and aggressive solvents.
The overall system thickness typically ranges from approximately 1.5 to 3 mm, depending on the flatness and preparation method of the substrate.
Aqua Nature is a single-component trowel-ready product, which simplifies application. However, for floors, it is essential to strictly follow substrate preparation, layering sequence, and to work without unwanted interruptions over the surface.
Minor local damage can generally be repaired without removing the entire floor. However, due to manual application, the repaired area may have a slightly different appearance.
Each individual layer and the final polyurethane protection require the prescribed drying and curing time. Exact times are given in the current application instructions.
No. The video serves as a practical demonstration of working with the material. Always follow the current PDF application instructions for correct system installation.
