Professional tools

Faster application with fewer marks

The Silver Lisse design is created for smooth spreading of thin-layer materials. The flexible blade follows the surface and the rounded edges reduce the risk of sharp scratches, unwanted ridges and noticeable transitions between strokes.

01

Flexible stainless steel blade

The tempered stainless steel blade, 0.3 mm thick, applies even pressure and adapts well to the surface.

02

Rounded corners

Rounded edges limit material build-up and sharp marks that would require sanding afterwards.

03

Wide range of widths

From 12 cm for details up to 120 cm for fast processing of large walls and floors.

Usage in application

For applying and smoothing microcement

The Silver Lisse trowel can be used for applying both base and finishing layers of microcement. Its greatest benefit is on smooth, continuous surfaces where it allows covering a larger area with a single stroke.

  • application of microcement on decorative walls
  • spreading microcement on floors
  • smoothing the base layer Aqua Base
  • applying and finishing Aqua Nature
  • unifying larger continuous areas
  • working on walls using a telescopic pole
  • processing corners and details with smaller sizes
  • reducing visible tool edge marks

10 sizes available

Choose width based on the area size

Smaller trowels are suitable for corners, reveals and detailed areas. Wider versions speed up application on long walls, floors and other open surfaces.

Basic working procedure

How to work with the trowel when applying microcement

The resulting microcement texture depends on the amount of material, trowel angle, pressure and stroke direction. We recommend testing the tool on a sample or small trial area before application.

  1. 01

    Choose a suitable width

Use a smaller trowel for intricate areas. On large flat walls and floors, use a wider version.

  2. 02

Apply an appropriate amount of material

Spread microcement evenly over the working area, avoiding unnecessarily thick layers on the surface.

  3. 03

Move the trowel in a smooth stroke

Work at a slight angle and maintain consistent pressure. Excessive pressure may remove too much material.

  4. 04

    Overlap fresh material

Overlap strokes before edges dry to avoid visible seams.

  5. 05

    Clean the blade regularly

Dried particles on the blade can cause scratches. Check and wipe the blade frequently during work.

Tool-free

Three-step blade replacement

1. Open the upper part of the handle. Pressure holding the stainless steel blade releases.

2. Remove the old blade and insert the new one. Check the blade is straight and properly seated along its entire length.

3. Close the handle and secure the blade. Ensure it is firmly fixed before use.

Work without scaffolding or bending

Option to attach telescopic pole

Using the OCAI 0902 adapter, the trowel can be attached to the Expert 405431 telescopic pole. This solution facilitates working on high walls, ceilings and large floor areas.

  • higher reach on walls
  • faster work on large surfaces
  • less back strain when working on floors
  • anti-slip coating on telescopic pole
  • trowel, adapter and pole must be ordered separately

Tool care

A clean blade is the foundation of a quality surface

Even a small dried particle can cause a visible scratch on the next stroke. Clean the trowel immediately after use and regularly check the blade edge during application.

01

Clean immediately after use

Do not allow microcement to cure on the blade or inside the holder area.

02

Do not use as a scraper

The thin flexible blade is not designed for removing hardened material or rough unevenness.

03

Protect the working edge

Store the trowel so the blade is not bent and does not contact sharp or abrasive objects.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ about the Silver Lisse trowel

Is Silver Lisse suitable for microcement application?

Yes. The flexible stainless steel blade allows applying and smoothing thin microcement layers on walls and floors.

What size to choose for general use?

For general manual use, we recommend widths around 30 to 50 cm. Smaller sizes are suited for detail work, while widths of 60 cm and above are intended for large flat surfaces.

Does Silver Lisse replace a traditional Venetian trowel?

Not in all cases. Silver Lisse is excellent for quickly spreading and smoothing larger areas. A traditional trowel offers more precise control in corners, details and when creating specific hand textures.

Why does the blade have rounded corners?

Rounded corners reduce the risk of the tool edge creating a sharp scratch or visible transition in fresh microcement.

Can the blade be replaced separately?

Yes. The handle opens, a new blade is inserted into the holder and secured by closing the handle. No tools are required for replacement.

Can the trowel be fixed to a telescopic pole?

Yes. A separate adapter 0902 is required to connect to the OCAI Expert 405431 telescopic pole.

Is the widest trowel suitable for beginners?

Widths from 80 to 120 cm require even pressure along the entire length and more experience. For initial applications, sizes 30 to 50 cm are more practical.

How to prevent scratches during application?

Keep the blade perfectly clean, work smoothly and regularly check that no dried material particles remain on the edge.
