Aqua Nature CimentArt is a mineral thin-layer screed ready for direct application. It combines fine minerals, polymers, aggregate, resins, pigments and special waterproof additives.

Used as a decorative surface finish on walls, floors, ceilings, bathrooms, shower enclosures and other high-use areas. The result is a continuous seamless surface with a natural concrete character.

Thanks to its ready paste consistency, application is easier, cleaner and produces significantly less dust during sanding compared to traditional cement systems.

Application of Aqua Nature

Aqua Nature is applied manually with a steel trowel with rounded corners. It is applied in thin layers, ideally in short semi-circular strokes under light pressure.

Before applying the final screed, the substrate must be even, firm, dry and free of irregularities. For problematic substrates, floors or tiles, reinforcement mesh, primer and a layer of Aqua Base are used.

After Aqua Nature has dried, the surface is sanded, thoroughly vacuumed and then sealed using Gela Cryl TR100 and final PU protective layers.

Why it is more than just a decorative screed

In bathrooms and showers, the appearance of the final layer is not the only consideration. The entire system structure – substrate preparation, base layer, final screed, pore sealing and protective sealer – is crucial.

Therefore, we use Aqua Nature as part of a complete system designed for long-term performance in moist environments, not just as a thin design layer.

Recommendation: For showers, bathrooms and floors, always use Aqua Nature as a complete layered system. The final screed alone without proper preparation and protection is not equivalent to a functional waterproof assembly.

Practical note: Aqua Nature is the ideal choice if you want a seamless concrete appearance, high durability and a system suitable for bathrooms or shower enclosures.
