Q: How to sand Aqua Base?

It is sanded to remove edges, unevenness and trowel marks. Aqua Base is not sanded to achieve a perfect gloss, but to eliminate edges, peaks and trowel marks. Typically, grit sizes P40–P80 are used depending on the unevenness. Diamond pads work well as they smooth the surface more cleanly. After sanding, the dust must be thoroughly vacuumed. Use an orbital sander with abrasive grit P40 - P80. Diamond polishing pads are recommended.
