Microcement can be sanded either manually or with a machine, but always with care. For larger areas, an orbital sander with low to medium speeds and diamond pads is suitable. The aim is to remove projections without sanding through the decorative layer. Corners and repairs are often better controlled manually. The best sanding quality is provided by diamond sanding pads with a grit of 50.
