Can I apply microcement to a worktop?

A worktop is subject to water, grease, heat, and mechanical stress. Microcement can be used here, but only with a well-prepared substrate, a quality varnish, and realistic expectations of maintenance. It is therefore not just about the material of the substrate, but mainly about its condition. Before application, check the strength, flatness, grease, dust, cracks, and any movement. If the surface is risky, it is better to reinforce it or first create a test area. For application, we recommend melamine-faced chipboard with quality ABS edges.
