Use an appropriate degreaser, rinse with clean water and allow the surface to dry. In practice, it is advisable to assess the specific substrate, expected load and desired appearance. Microcement is a thin system layer, so the quality of preparation and proper procedure are more important than a simple yes/no answer. We recommend a final rinse with a solution of Alcohol : water in a 1:2 ratio.
